'''Joseph B. Roberts''' is a local aspiring politician. He challenged U.S. Representative [[Jeff Miller]] as a Democrat in [[2006]]. He initially pre-filed to oppose him again in [[State and federal elections, 2008|2008]], but left the Democratic Party after a dispute with party officials. Roberts continued his campaign as an NPA (no party affiliation), but failed to qualify, and his name was not on the ballot. He later made the decision to enter the Florida House District 2 race as a Republican, challenging [[Dave Murzin]] in the primary.
