'''Jim Tanck''', known as "Mr. Thursday Night," was a board member of the [[Pensacola Heritage Foundation]], is credited as with creating the [[Evenings in Old Seville Square]] concert series in [[1987]] by lifting . Tanck moved to the entertainment component out Pensacola area in 1981 and was an employee of [[Milsoft Utilities]]. The concert series arose from the Foundation's earlier "An Evening in Old Seville Square" program and Tanck's desire to bring city residents downtown. He died of a stroke on [[December 15]], [[2007]], at the age of 63."
