'''Jewel L. Cannada-Wynn''' is a member of the [[Pensacola City Council]]. She was elected to represent District 6 7 in November [[2004]]2012. She currently serves as member of the Economic and Community Development Committee, Neighborhood Services CommitteePreviously, she represented District 6 on the [[Community Redevelopment Agency]], and the Committee of the Wholecouncil from 2005 to 2011.
Jewel is the Dean a dean at [[Woodham Escambia High School]]. Her career in public service began as a military member where she served as a Security Forces Specialist. She is retired from the United States Air Force Reserve after 20 years service.
Jewel was born in [[Century]] to Myrtle Mae Andrews and the late Joshua Andrews. She was the second oldest of six children. She graduated from [[Century High School]], [[Pensacola Junior College]] with an A.S. in Criminal Justice Technology, the University of Maryland European Branch, with a B.S. in Government, and the [[University of West Florida]] where she recieved her Masters in Teaching History. She is a 2005 National Board Certified Teacher and a member of [[Greater Union Baptist Church]].
