 He was a founder and the first president of the RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF NORTWEST FLORIDA.
 
 
 
 Jerry is a director, trustee or advisor for WEST FLORIDA HISTORIC PRESERVATION, the BANK OF PENSACOLA, the INSTITUTE FOR INNOVATIVE COMMUNITY LEARNING and the BETTER PENSACOLA FORUM.
 
 
 
 He was recently appointed to the board of directors for the FLORIDA HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION by Governor Charlie Crist.
 
 
 
 Jerry serves on the administrative board of FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH and he recently chaired their campaign to purchase and restore Governor Edward Perry’s historic home in downtown Pensacola.
