J. P. Cone, Jr. is a former principal and former assistant principal of Pensacola High School.

Cone as Assistant Principal[edit]

Cone was appointed Assistant Principal of Curriculum in 1969, when the current man in that position, R. E. Mabry was promoted to principal. Cone was promoted to principal in 1975, when Principal Mabry retired.

Cone as Principal[edit]

Cone eventually transferred to District Office in 1994, appointing Horace Jones as his replacement.
