Ferry Pass is a community in Northeast Pensacola. Present day Davis Highway was once named Ferry Pass Highway.

Before the Pensacola - Tallahassee Road (now Interstate 10) bridge was constructed over Escambia Bay, there was a ferry service. The old "Map of Escambia County" in the property appraiser's office dated November 1908 shows Ferry Pass as being located at the Township base line at the mouth of Escambia River.
