Events
- 1955 – The Bayfront Auditorium is completed, and the Pensacola High School band becomes the first group to play there (at the dedication ceremony).
- 1985 - Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus first of three consecutive nights at civic center.
- 1987 - Blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan performed at the Saenger Theatre. Opening act was Omar and the Howlers.
- 2008 – A groundbreaking ceremony is held for a major renovation of the Saenger Theatre.
