'Episcopal Day School (EDS') of Christ Church Parish is a parochial school owned and operated by Christ Church. Founded in 1856 and operated continuously since 1952, the school functions as an integral part of the total ministry and program of Christ Church. The curriculum focuses on comprehensive instruction in the areas of language-arts, mathematics, science, Christian education, foreign language, technology education, and the arts. The faculty is dedicated to stretching and expanding the student's learning experience to the maximum of each student's ability. The majority of students attending classes at EDS are working on grade level or above; the school's curriculum is geared to the pace set by these expectations. EDS is committed to providing its students with the best possible academic opportunity in an atmosphere that stresses Judeo-Christian values and seeks to affirm the individual while fostering attitudes of compassion and responsibility.
