'''Donahue's Lounge''' was an Irish-themed sports bar and kitchen located on the second story of 6420 N 9th Avenuein the former Royal Package Store, Topside Lounge building. It Opening in the Autumn of 1990, it was owned by David J Donahue, who also owned Donahue's Liquors which was located on the SE SW corner of 14th Avenue and Gregory Street (in the old former Down & Under building). It Managed by Richard Sarli, Donahue's hosted a Wednesday free buffet, and live musical entertainment from Wednesday through Saturday nights, a free Wednesday buffet, Monday night football, several fashion shows, and more.  The most notable entertainers to perform there were local solo musicians Richard Gilewitz and Harland Williams, and pop/rock bands RKX and Coupe DeVille, Jam Sandwich, and Joe Occhipinti's brass band RKXfeaturing Holly Shelton. After more than seven years in business, it closed in the spring of 1998. Owner David Donahue died on November 22, 2011 at 75 years of age.
