'''Donahue's Lounge''', was an Irish-themed sports bar and kitchen located on the second floor story of 6420 N 9th AveAvenue in the former Royal Package Store, Topside Lounge building. Opening in the Autumn of 1990, it was an Irish-themed bar owned by David J Donahue, who also owned Donahue's Liquors located on the SW corner of 14th Avenue and kitchen that opened Gregory Street in October 1990the former Down & Under building. It Managed by Richard Sarli, Donahue's hosted live musical entertainment from Wednesday through Saturday nights, a free Wednesday free buffet , Monday night football, several fashion shows, and live entertainment, more.  The most notably local musician notable entertainers to perform there were solo musicians Richard Gilewitz and Harland Williams, also pop/rock bands RKX and Coupe DeVille, Jam Sandwich, and Joe Occhipinti's jazz band, and rock brass band RKXfeaturing Holly Shelton. After being more than seven years in business for over seven years, Donahue's Lounge it closed in the spring of 1998. Owner David Donahue died on November 22, 2011 at 75 years of age.
