Music Career
Price's career can be broken down into two primary fields; that of an Artist and as a Programmer. His career began in high school when he took up web development and programming as a hobby; having a passion for both computers and art. Since early on he has demonstrated a key working knowledge of web development and object oriented programming, having mastered a dozen programming languages over his ten year career.
His endeavors led him to his involvement with the entertainment website [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newgrounds.com newgrounds.com] from 1999 until 2003 as a contributor. In college he founded his own entertainment and e-zine based website , ''mobiusfactor.com'', which he maintained until 2005. The site has since become defunct although Price still owns the domain. In late 2004, Price became a full time web development contractor and graphic artist, which he continues to refer to as his primary profession. During his career as a web development contractor he has literally had his hands in over 300 websites and various programming related projects. He currently contracts out to several local companies as well as freelance projects.

Eschar's stage moniker is a bastardization of his name with ''Mod'' being his first name spelled backwards, and his last name spelled backwards (''Ecirp'') resembling the word ''Eschar'', a medical term for a scabby gangrenous wound. His reasoning for the pseudonym is both artistic and practical as it reflects the negative aspects of Price's personality; which he prefers to keep separated from his professional life.

He is active in the Gulf Coast industrial/goth scene as both a performer and a promoter.
