Davey Willhoit

David Floyd Willhoit (b. 1978) is a Pensacola advertising professional, competitive golfer, and motorcycle racer who works for the Pensacola News Journal as an advertising manager. Prior to PNJ, he held various leadership positions with AT&T Advertising Solutions.


Early life & education

The son of Bill and Pam Willhoit, grandson of of Rhoten and Jimmie Willhoit of Milton and Dave Turner of Pensacola, Davey graduated from Milton High School and attended Pensacola Junior College for business management. As a child, he grew up in Milton, FL and competed in golf tournaments with Bubba Watson, Heath Slocum, and Boo Weekly. He was a standout for the Milton High School varsity golf team and was selected to the All Florida Golf Team in 1995 and 1996. He has one child, Graydon (Grady) Willhoit (b. 2011).
