Cordova Park

Cordova Park is a neighborhood in Pensacola. The neighborhood is just north of Bayou Texar and immediately south of Pensacola International Airport; it is bordered by Bayou Texar on the south, 12th Avenue on the west, Summit Boulevard on the north, and has Firestone Boulevard running through the middle, connecting Bayou Boulevard and Summit Boulevard. The entire neighborhood is included within City of Pensacola District 4.

History

Cordova Park was initially developed by Henry and Mary Ellison Baars. They originally envisioned the area as the equivalent of a modern-day "gated community" of villas designed to serve as summer or vacation homes.
