'''Club Rumboogie''' was a private social club , operated by the "Everready Social Club," located at 509 East [[Salamanca Street]] in the [[Hawkshaw]] neighborhood.The club existed from the late 1940s through the early 1960s. In 1960, 17 members of the club were charged with disturbing the peace. Judge [[William C. Jones]] ruled that the mere presence of 17 black Pensacolians at the club didn't constitute disturbing the peace, and dismissed the charges.<ref>"Ever Ready Social Club Has Ready Court Answer."
