'''Charles Bradford''' (d. [[1822]]), a native of Lexington, Kentucky, was the second [[sheriff of Escambia County]]. He was named sheriff after the departure of [[Henri Peire]] in late [[1821]] until he fell ill with yellow fever in [[1822]]. He was attended in his illness by Dr. [[J. C. Brosnaham]], but died in late September or early October.
