  • 1906 – An open house is held at the newly completed Brent Building.
  • 1922 – The segregated Belmont Theatre, previously catering exclusively to blacks, opens its doors to whites, who are required to sit in the balcony.
  • 1973 - Pop rock musicians Three Dog Night performed at the Mobile Municipal Auditorium.
  • 1994Chuck Baldwin first broadcasts his radio talk show, "Chuck Baldwin Live."
