6215 N 9th Avenue

6215 N 9th Avenue was the address of several Pensacola businesses, located on the west side of the street and halfway between Langley Avenue and Schwab Drive. Two seperate buildings occupied the address. From the 1960s to 1992, there was a single-business cinder lock building on the dirt and oyster shell lot. After it was demolished a commercial duplex was constructed, housing the Psychedelic Shack on it's south end and Wing Zone, later Mr Shawarma, on it's north end.

The business names, types, and approximate years of operation are as follows:

Bellzora's Beanery (pool hall, early to mid 1970s), Tornado Foosball (mid-70s), Peanut Gallery (teen club, mid to late '70s), Campus Caper Inn (beer and wine bar, 1982), Dry Dock Crab House (seafood restaurant, 1983), Mama Rose's Pizza (Italian restaurant, 1984), Psychedelic Shack (head shop, 1990s-2021 or so), Wing Zone (chicken carryout or delivery, 2000s), Mr Shawarma (Mediterranean carryout or delivery, 2015-'21 or so).
