6014 North 9th Avenue has been the location of at least two buildings, located at the northeast corner of 9th and Douglas Avenues, with the second constructed sometime in the late 1980's or early 1990's. Much of the dba history of the location is listed, in reverse chronology, and as follows: Italy's Finest Pizzeria (closed on Jan 12, 2021), Kooter Brown's (a sports bar owned by Richard Waller, 1990's- 2000's), Styles by Allen (barber and style shop, owned by Alan Man, mid-1980's), Nationwide / Colonial Insurance (owned by Roger McGraw, early 1980's).

At some point prior to the commercial rezoning of North 9th Avenue, the original building was a private residence.
