400 Pensacola Beach Boulevard is the location of what has been at least two different buildings. For beachgoers, it was visible on the left (east) just before entering the beach from the Bob Sikes Bridge. The dba names are as follows: Grand Marlin Restaurant (newer building), Calypso's (Previous building. 1990s?), Boy On A Dolphin Restaurant (1980s), The Spinnaker Lounge (mid-to-late late 1970s), The Other Inn (early-to-mid 1970s), Gentleman George's, The Pier Lounge, and Breezeway Restaurant (1960s).

In 1976, The Other Inn held a scheduled concert that was supposed to headline with The Blues Image band, whose 1970 radio hit Ride, Captain, Ride had filled the airwaves. A late cancellation by the band led to their being replaced with the Cate Brothers, who had a more recent radio hit titled Union Man.
