'''Michael J. Donovan''' (d. [[2007]]) was a Boston-based businessman who owned the [[Seville Inn & Suites]] and the [[Cap'n Fun DownTown]] property.
Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, Donovan served in the [[Wikipedia:United States Marine Corps|U.S. Marine Corps]] during the [[Wikipedia:Vietnam War|Vietnam War]]. He was married to [[Patty Donovan|Patricia Kane Donovan]] and had three children: Brian, Matthew and Casie.
In September [[2007]] Donovan announced plans to open a complex of 24 retail shops on [[Alcaniz Street]], just adjacent to the Cap'n Fun's property, and on [[October 22]] the Seville Inn closed for renovations. However, these plans were scrapped after Donovan's death on [[October 31]].
