His father [[Joe Patti|Joe]] started Joe Patti Seafood from their front porch on Devillier's Street in [[1933]]. Frank started [[Patti Shipbuilding]] in 1977 and it is now owned and operated by Frank Patti, Jr and his family. Frank Patti Sr. took over Joe Patti's Seafood Company after his fatherbrother, Sammy Patti's death passing in [[1992]] and oversaw the seafood company's growth from $2.2 million in annual sales to about $14.1 million in [[2000]].
