The restaurant is owned by [[William Yang|William]] and [[Linda Yang]], who previously owned the adjacent [[Hunan]] restaurant, and head . Head chef [[John Ma]]left in late 2007 to expand his own creative ventures in other arenas of food and beverage.
Self-described as "innovative Asian cuisine," the menu is composed almost exclusively of Japanese dishes: [[Wikipedia:sushi|sushi]], [[Wikipedia:udon|udon]] and [[Wikipedia:soba|soba]] noodles, [[Wikipedia:tempura|tempura]], [[Wikipedia:shabu-shabu|shabu-shabu]], etc. A variety of [[Wikipedia:sake|sake]] is also available.
