After five years representing parents and students in school matters and litigating mass tort, personal injury, insurance, employment, and business cases at Pensacola, Florida law firm, [[Aylstock, Witkin, Kreis & Overholtz]], Mr. Jones was selected as the Downey Brand Fellow for Public Service and Leadership at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California.  While working at McGeorge, he worked in the Education Pipeline Initiative, running a mentor program between law students and children from grades 4-12, and he taught Street Law at Sacramento Charter High School. At McGeorge, Mr. Jones earned a Master of Laws in Government and Public Policy with an emphasis in education law, one of only seventeen lawyers in the country to hold the degree.
Mr. Jones handles a variety of cases, including student rights, such as special education, anti-bullying, and student discipline, business formations and management, non-profit formation and management, trademark and copyright services, and family law issues.  However, he is equipped to handle all of your family law and business law needs.  Mr. Jones has extraordinary litigation and negotiation skills, but he also employs proactive lawyering techniques to anticipate and solve problems, before they arise, through practical policy and contract development.
Mr. Joshua Jones is licensed to practice law in both Florida and California.
