P. C. Wu
,Dr. '''Paul C. Wu''' is a member of the [[Pensacola City Council]]. He was elected to represent District 1 in November [[2004]]. He currently serves as member of the Enterprise Operations Committee, Neighborhood Services Committee, the [[Community Redevelopment Agency]] and the Committee of the Whole.
P. C. has a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D from FSU. He and his wife Judi have two children, Christopher and Ashley and are active members of [[St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church]].
==Other community involvement==
Wu currently serves on the Board of Directors of the [[North West Florida Blood Bank]] and the [[Baptist Health Care Foundation]], and as the secretary of the [[North West Florida Council on Aging]]. He also serves on the Florida-Alabama TPO, the [[West Florida Regional Planning Council]], and he is the Legislative Vice-chair of the [[North West Florida League of Cities]]. He is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Court Mediator and Assistant Trainer.
He is the recipient of numerous Ft. Walton Beach Center Outstanding Professor Awards and the recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Service Award. He served as a consultant and/or presented speeches in over twenty-five states and throughout Canada. He is past President of the Florida Association of Teacher Educators, the Florida Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, the Florida Association of Staff Development.
==Political career==
During his candidacy for Council in 2004, Wu was endorsed by four former mayors of Pensacola: [[Eugene Elebash]], [[Warren Briggs]], [[Vince Whibbs]], and [[Jerry Maygarden]]. Wu defeated three others for the seat, obtaining 51.51% of the vote, thus avoiding the need for a run-off.
Wu has pre-filed for re-election.
