The neighbourhood is bordered on the north by [[Royce Street]], on the east by [[Ninth Avenue]], on the south by [[Fairfield Drive]], and on the west by [[Davis Highway]]. The majority of the neighbourhood is zoned residential, with a minority (11.5%) zoned commercial. Woodland Heights was originally developed as a subdivision in [[1957]]. The racial composition of the neighbourhood has changed significantly over the years; while once heavily Caucasian, Woodland Heights is now predominantly African-American.
