- 1918 – Ensign J. P. Bournique and machinists Thomas O. Jones and E. B. Saunders are killed when a seaplane crashes at the Naval Aeronautical Station.[1]
- 2007 – The merger of the Hawkshaw Eastside project with a rival development by Moulton Properties is approved 6-3 by the Pensacola City Council.
