April 30 – The Emerald Coast Honor Flight program transports 102 World War II veterans to Washington, D.C. for a day of reflection and celebration.
April 30 – Convicted drug felon Rogelio Galvan Chavez is sentenced to life in prison by Judge Casey Rodgers.
April 24 – The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority votes 4-0 to initiate a voluntary curbside recycling program.
