Leroy Johnson

Leroy Johnson was a Santa Rosa County county commissioner elected to represent District 1 in 1968. He was the father of politician Bolley "Bo" Johnson.

On August 16, 1984, Johnson was arrested for allegedly contracting the murder of public health director Ben Henry Pooley. He died of a heart attack a week after his arrest and was never tried.
