Juan de la Rua (sometimes spelled as John or De La Rue) was a prominent Pensacolian of the 19th century.

La Rua served as an alderman in the city government in (at least) 1822, 1825, 1827, 1828, and 1841[1], and as Mayor of Pensacola in 1822 and 1823.

He lived in an estate in the Gull Point area overlooking Escambia Bay. The estate was described in an 1822 account of a "patgo" that De la Rua hosted.

John de la Rua is buried in St. Michael's Cemetery.
