George C. Scarborough (b. 1960) is a political and marketing consultant who ran for State Representative District 3 in 2007, but lost in the Republican primary to Clay Ford. He is the brother of former Congressman Joe Scarborough.
Scarborough earned a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Alabama in 1982, then worked as an analyst for Shell Oil in Houston, Texas. He founded Scarborough Consulting in 2001,[1] where his work earned a number of ADDY Awards. Among other projects, he established and produced the Gulf Coast Technology Summit and Exposition from 2001-2003.[2]
Scarborough serves on several non-profit boards and committees, including Celebrate Pensacola, Pensacola Opera and WSRE-TV. He is currently employed by the Studer Group.[3]
