Davey Willhoit[edit]

David Floyd Willhoit (b. 1978), known as Davey Willhoit, is the Vice President and Market Manager of Cumulus Media, Inc. managing and operating the 5 radio station cluster the company owns in Pensacola, FL. Stations include NASH 102.7 WXBM, Soft Rock 94.1 WEMZ, Jet 100.7 WJTQ, and Magic 106.1 Classic Soul and R&B. Prior to Cumulus Media, Inc, Davey Willhoit worked for the Pensacola News Journal as a manager in the advertising department. Prior to PNJ, he held various leadership positions with AT&T Advertising Solutions. At last report, Davey Willhoit was a member of 5 Flags Rotary Club of Pensacola, FL, serving on the Board of Directors. Willhoit also serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Santa Rosa County. Davey Willhoit was also known for accomplishments in golf and played professional golf for a short time, playing on two developmental tours from 2011-2013 including a qualifying attempt for the US Open Golf Tournament.

Early life & education[edit]

The son of Bill and Pam Willhoit, grandson of of Rhoten and Jimmie Willhoit of Milton and Dave Turner of Pensacola, Davey graduated from Milton High School and attended Pensacola Junior College for business management. As a child, he grew up in Milton, FL and competed in golf tournaments with Bubba Watson, Heath Slocum, and Boo Weekly. He was a standout for the Milton High School varsity golf team and was selected to the All Florida Golf Team in 1995 and 1996.
