The Gulf Power Crist Plant is apparently named after "James F. Crist." The only things I see online is that [http://www.antiquemallbooks.com/cgi-bin/cdbooks/BA10387bs] he wrote a book about the power companies called ''They Electrified the South'' and [ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/mo/caldwell/cemeteries/cameron.txt] assuming it's the same guy, he died in 1980 — a year before the book was published. Maybe everyone felt bad that this guy doing research on the company died before his book got finished? --[[User:Admin|Admin]] 16:31, 15 April 2008 (CDT)

The Gulf Power Crist Plant is apparently named after "James F. Crist." The only things I see online is that [1] he wrote a book about the power companies called They Electrified the South and [2] assuming it's the same guy, he died in 1980 — a year before the book was published.
