Looking at a low-res image of Thiesen's gravestone ([http://www.uwf.edu/gis/smc/images/476.jpg]), his middle name is either Ustrup or Usirup.  Personally, the third letter looks more like an "I" to me, but according to the Google, "Ustrup" is Danish.  I'm going with that. Middle name

Looking at a low-res image of Thiesen's gravestone ([2]), his middle name is either Ustrup or Usirup. Personally, the third letter looks more like an "I" to me, but according to the Google, "Ustrup" is Danish. I'm going with that. dscosson ··· talk 17:50, 7 April 2008 (CDT)

You can see the top bar of the "T" over the rest of the name. Maybe the engraver made a mistake at first. --Admin 18:37, 7 April 2008 (CDT)
