The Panhandle Fresh Marketing Association is an initiative of TEAM Santa Rosa to make locally grown produce available to area restaurants, via a partnership with Sysco, and Walmart stores. Originally known as Santa Rosa Fresh, the program now includes farmers from neighboring counties as well.

Panhandle Fresh provides the requisite $3 million in liability insurance required by Walmart. They also perform marketing and logistic services to ensure shelf space and payment.[1] While the farmers are currently required to deliver the produce to the stores themselves, executive director Cindy Anderson is pursuing the possibility of establishing a distribution center in Century using federal grants.[2]
