Naresh (Nash) Patel

Nash is president and COO of LHS Companies, a hotel company that owns and operates multiple hotel properties with 580 rooms within the Florida-Alabama Gulf Coast area. Mr. Patel along with the companies represents owns and operates seven franchised hotels with flags of such brands as La Quinta, Comfort, Ramada, Days, and Econo. Mr. Patel also brings 20 years of hotel experience to LHS Companies. Nash is also a principal in the electric car company LHS-EV.

Born in Walsall, England, Nash moved to the United States in 1979. Now resides in Pensacola FL with his wife, daughter and son. Nash began his hospitality career with independent hotels and has owned and operated several hotels since 1989. He is an active member of AAHOA, aahoa.com serving his seven year as a member of the board of directors. And also serving six years of them being on the executive commit and served as Chairman for 2004-2005 terms. Now serves as a member of the past Chairman’s council.


The Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA)

AAHOA IS THE voice of owners in the hospitality industry. Founded in 1989, AAHOA is now one of the fastest-growing organizations in the industry, with over 8,800 members owning more than 22,000 hotels that total $60 billion in property value. During his tenor Nash has and chaired or Co-Chaired the vendor and Resource committee for the past 5 years In addition he has also served on the Industry Relations Committee for 5 years the by-laws & ethics committee the Governmental Affairs committee Future Hotelier Committee He is also the co-founder of the Gulf Coast India Association, a local business organization representing the Gulf Coast region of the United States.

Nash currently serves as an Executive Committee member for the Leuva Patidar Samaj (LPS) on the Public Relations Committee.

Nash also has recently been appointed to the National Association of Black Hotel Owners & Operators & Developers Board of Directers (NABHOOD) nabhood.com where he shares his expertise to help the African Americans entrepreneurs enter and be successful into the Lodging Industry.

NABHOOD’s mission, to increase the number of African-Americans developing, managing, operating and owning hotels; increase vendor opportunities & executive level jobs for minorities, thereby creating wealth within the African-American community. Designed for interested people within the hospitality industry, and want to work with people that will help them realize their dreams and make a difference.

Pensacola

Nash also currently serving on the Escambia County Tourist Development Council designed to help the community attract tourism to the Pensacola area and advise the Commissioners as to the responsibility of the Tourist bed tax.

Nash believes in the importance of supporting industry issues, with an emphasis on the future. Through his involvement in AAHOA, he has accepted the responsibility of encouraging participation from young adults within the hospitality industry.
