Kitt Lough's 2002 CD, Orange Colored View

Kitt Lough is a jazz vocalist who performs regularly in the Pensacola area.

A 1980 graduate of Catholic High School,[1] Lough left home and sold newspaper advertising in Washington, D.C. before launching her music career: "One morning I woke up and looked at my life and said, 'Life is too short. I did not dream of being a salesperson.' I quit my job and started living off credit cards, dancing and singing in clubs whenever the bands there would let me. Eventually I moved to Nashville and found my home in singing classic jazz."[2]

She was well received in Nashville and was playing weekly gigs at the F. Scott's jazz club in 2002 when her first CD, Orange Colored View, was released. The album was featured by the editors of CD Baby, an online music store.[3]

Lough played at the 2004 JazzFest and moved back to the Pensacola area in 2005 to be close to her mother, playing at the Perdido Beach Resort and the Fish House.

Her 2008 schedule includes performances at Evenings in Olde Seville and the 600 South bar.
