Jo Hovind is best known as the wife of Kent "Dr. Dino" Hovind. On November 2, 2006, the Hovinds were convicted in federal court of tax evasion and financial impropriety related to their Christian Science Evangelism ministry and Dinosaur Adventure Land business.
