Jewel L. Cannada-Wynn is a member of the Pensacola City Council. She was elected to represent District 7 in November 2012. Previously, she represented District 6 on the council from 2005 to 2011.

Jewel is a dean at Escambia High School. Her career in public service began as a military member where she served as a Security Forces Specialist. She is retired from the United States Air Force Reserve after 20 years service.

Jewel was born in Century to Myrtle Mae Andrews and the late Joshua Andrews. She was the second oldest of six children. She graduated from Century High School, Pensacola Junior College with an A.S. in Criminal Justice Technology, the University of Maryland European Branch, with a B.S. in Government, and the University of West Florida where she recieved her Masters in Teaching History. She is a 2005 National Board Certified Teacher and a member of Greater Union Baptist Church.
