'''Frank Patti, Sr.''' (b. [[1930]]) is the owner of [[Joe Patti Seafood Company]] and a Veteran of the US Navy. His father [[Joe Patti|Joe]] started Joe Patti Seafood from their front porch on Devillier's Street in [[1933]]. Frank started [[Patti Shipbuilding]] in 1977 and it is now owned and operated by Frank Patti, Jr and his family. Frank Patti Sr. took over Joe Patti's Seafood Company after his brother, Sammy Patti's passing in [[1992]] and oversaw the seafood company's growth from $2.2 million in annual sales to about $14.1 million in [[2000]].


On March 31, 2011, Patti's company employed two African-Americans on a staff of approximately 120 persons.  This figure constitutes less than 2% of the entire staff.  At the same time census data confirms that the surrounding community of Pensacola, Florida has an African-American population of over 32%.
