Before I start filling in these blanks, we should probably go over which things to emphasize and which things we probably don't need to carry over from Papa Bear Wikipedia. I still don't know what a "village pump" is, for example. What do you think? --Admin 07:36, 27 June 2008 (CDT)
- Per Wikipedia, their village pump is "used to discuss the technical issues, policies, and operations of Wikipedia". Backend stuff. We could prob consolidate that idea with community portal whereas due to their traffic they'd want separate venues. For the "account settings" stuff you would prob just use interwiki links to Wikipedia. Same for "technical information". dscosson ··· talk 11:12, 27 June 2008 (CDT)
- That was my thinking as well. By the way, let me know if you see anything in the recent policy/guideline pages that draws any questions or concerns to your mind. Most of it is pretty much identical to Wikipedia, which a few things omitted or changed. I'm going to try and be better about some of these things, like using the Talk pages for rants or relying too heavily on public records. --Admin 15:05, 27 June 2008 (CDT)
